University of Hawaii
Student Researcher and Presenter

Youngest student researcher and presenter at University of Hawaii West Oahu's 2023 Aha Hoolokahi Research Summit on Native Hawaiian Health and Wellbeing. Conducted qualitative and quantitative research on the effects of community outreach and empowerment programs like those offered by WeGo! on the well-being of local communities in Hawai’i. My findings highlighted the critical role of programs, like those offered by WeGo!, play as not merely external interventions but intrinsic building blocks that contribute to the holistic development of the people they serve. Research results were then applied to further expand upon my WeGo! leadership develop curriculum and community outreach programs.

Punahou Admissions

I was a tour guide for prospective students and their families for over 5 years, since the 6th grade. I’ve always worked with students and provided training on how to give tours and communicate effectively. I also participated in numerous open house admission events to welcome families, selected to be a part of a panel of students to answer parent questions, and was also selected to be a part of an admission video to represent Punahou School and share my experiences with their over 15,000 followers. I later became an Admissions Counselor in which I support prospective and/or incoming students and their families.
