Prudential Emerging Visionaries 2023

I was honored to have been named one of 25 students as a 2023 Prudential Emerging Visionary and represent the state of Hawai`i. I was extremely humbled to be the sole student from Hawai`i chosen for this honor for my women empowerment non-profit, WeGo!, out of a pool of over 30,000 incredibly talented teenage activists and changemakers. It was truly a great honor to represent Hawaii on such a prestigious platform, and being able to share my mission with others.

I also received a $5,000 award to help take my innovation to the next level, and invited to attend an all-expenses-paid trip to Prudential's New Jersey headquarters in Newark for a three-day summit in April 2023 in which I received my award, personal coaching, workshops, and other activities.

I had a great time connecting with other like-minded students and being able to see the amazing work of so many amazing teenagers. Witnessing the kind of impact and drive of my fellow visionaries truly inspired me and reassured me that the future world is in good hands. I still remain connected with our "Pru-Fam" until this day and I am so fortunate to have been able to build such an amazing community from this experience.
